The play area on the community field, Scott Road is maintained by Selby Town Council on behalf of the Community Trust.
In 2020 a new double space net was installed on the field providing numerous possibilities for physical and social development. Challenging without a great risk!
There is also a safe, enclosed play area for younger children to be enjoyed with their families. Some exciting new equipment has been recently added to this area following a public consultation during summer 2023.

The consultation is now closed.
Scheme 1 was voted the most popular and the new equipment has now been installed.
There are 3 schemes to consider. Schemes 1 and 2 are from the same company and the items can be mixed and matched. Scheme 3 includes some of the well loved existing items.
