Both the Monday Market and monthly Farmers Market will be open as normal. We are proactively managing the markets layouts to provide as much space between stalls, traders and the public.
We are following Government guidelines and in contact with the National Association of British Markets to get the most up to date guidance to ensure the safety of the traders and the public.
Held on two sites in the town centre every Monday. The Market Place, Gowthorpe has a large selection of stalls including fresh fruit and veg, eggs, cakes, clothing and bedding as well as a large range of other goods.
Micklegate (Back Market), although smaller has fabulous stalls too, clothing and seasonal stalls. A Charity stall, provided free for local charities is on this market. The Charities usually sell bric a brac and have tombolas. If you are a local charity and would like to book the stall please contact Emma on 01757 708449.
