Queen’s 90th Celebrations 2016

To celebrate the Queen’s 90th Birthday the Town Council have held two events:

Queens Tea Party – residents of Selby aged 90 and over were invited to a tea party in August 2016.  A film was shown of when the Royal Family had visited Selby followed by refreshments.

Royal Oak Trees – the town council purchased 90 Royal Oak Trees to be planted in Selby. Local groups, organisations and schools were given a tree to plant at the Cemetery, Community Centre fields and Bondgate Woodland.
