SELBY COLLEGE EXPRESS - LAND TRAIN FOR FAMILY FUN DAY ON SUNDAY 18 JUNE FREE EVENT FOR ALL THE FAMILY

This year we are having a new attraction, a Land Train provided by M. W Road Train Tours Ltd. The train has been sponsored by Selby Market Cross and Selby College

ROUTE - It will set off from the Community Centre, travel along Gowthorpe, turn down New Lane, stop outside the Market Cross so people can walk through to the Recreation Ground, continue along New Lane, turning left onto Portholme Road, along Park Street stopping opposite the Park and then returning along Gowthorpe to the Community Centre.

Family Fun Day - What's on / Where

Fun Run - if you would like to take part in this year's Fun Run you can pick up an entry form from the Town Hall office or download a copy of the entry form here

Community Centre, Scott Road - Charity Stalls, rides and slides, Zoot, Donkey Rides, Dog Show and entertainment in the main hall from Abbey Belles Choir from 12 Noon - 4.00pm. Fun Run prizes presented by the Mayor at approx 12.30pm.

Town Hall, York Street - Tea Dance with GI Jive, 1940's/50's music and entertainment, refreshments provided by Bridge View Tea Rooms and the proceeds to Age UK Selby District

Recreation Ground, Portholme Road - Live Pop Concert with 7 bands from 12.30pm - 8.00pm, refreshments available throughout the day. Full details on Selby Fun Day Pop Concert Facebook Page.

Selby Park - Brass and Silver Band concert from 12.30 - 4.30pm with Selby Music Centre, Hatfield Band and Humberside Police Band playing.

Motorcycle and Car Vintage Rally on Portholme Drive car park (opposite Morrisons) - 10am - 2pm. Register to enter by contacting Heather Kennedy 01757 213758.
